About Jaclyn Frantz
Co-Owner/Assistant Director
Jaclyn, hailing from the sunshine state of California, embarked on her dance journey at the tender age of three in the picturesque landscapes of Utah. Returning to her Californian roots during the eighth grade, she continued to nurture her passion for dance. In 2007, she stepped onto a transformative path when she commenced her dance training under the skilled guidance of Marlaina.
Jaclyn’s Journey
Her dedication and talent in the world of dance became undeniable, culminating in her achieving the esteemed title of the first captain of the MIDC Competition Team in 2009. Graduating with honor from Davis High School in 2012, Jaclyn carried with her two years of cherished memories as a vital member of the school's Dance Team. Eager to further her knowledge and love for dance, she proudly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Chico State in 2016. In 2017, her journey came full circle as she returned to MIDC, this time as a cherished member of the staff, where she inspired and mentored the next generation of dancers. Her unwavering commitment to the dance community reached its pinnacle in 2019 when she took on the role of co-owner of MIDC. Beyond her impressive dance career, Jaclyn holds dear her loving family, including a cherished sister, and eagerly awaits the arrival of a nephew to complete her family circle.
“MIDC is the place where dance is more than just movement; it's a journey of self-discovery and a welcoming embrace for all. It's enriched my life beyond words, teaching us not just dance but the beautiful art of unity and acceptance. Here, everyone is not only welcome; they are celebrated.”
